GENERAL ENROLMENTS

How to enrol

For successful enrolment into Newborough Primary School, parents will be required to complete all 3 stages of the enrolment process; this process takes some time to complete.

Stage 1

An Application for Enrolment needs to be completed, please attend Newborough PS Administration Office to complete all required paperwork.

You will be required to supply the school office with the following documents:

  • Original Birth Certificate

  • Current Proof of Address (must be utility usage bill e.g, gas, electricity dated within the last 3 months or City of Stirling Rates Notice).  Please note: Telephone accounts or driver’s licences are not accepted.

  • Passport, Visa documentation and/or Australian Citizenship Certificate

  • Family Court Orders (If applicable)

  • Up-to-date Medicare Immunisation History Statement

Stage 2

Once the Application for Enrolment has been accepted parents must attend the school office in person and complete the full Student Enrolment Form. This document requires all parent details (mother and father), contact phone numbers and addresses, any applicable court/family orders, full disclosure of medical conditions and supporting paperwork and Medicare number.

All students require a school uniform and parents will need to purchase one at this point for their child before their allocated start date.

Stage 3

New students must present to the school office in full school uniform with their student booklist items.

Out of Area Applications

Please see the Boundary Map below for Newborough Primary’s catchment area. Please note – an ‘out of area’ application may be submitted however; there are a number of criteria that the school needs to refer to before this application is accepted.
