About Newborough

Seek to Learn - Think - Create - Collaborate is our school motto. We believe children learn best in a happy, positive environment. We aim to prepare our students for the 21st Century with the capacity to be life-long learners that can think, create and innovate, continually up-skill, re-learn and work collaboratively using strong interpersonal skills.  These attributes form the basis identified by ‘futures’ research exploring the ways in which automation, globalisation and flexibility will impact work and life for our future generations.

As a school we pride ourselves in offering a family oriented environment with pastoral care for the whole school community. Staff at the school, both teaching and non-teaching, know the children at all levels and are able to assist in many ways as the children move through the year levels. We embrace the direction offered through the Department of Education’s ‘Strategic Plan for WA Public Schools 2016-2019’, the Early Years Learning Framework and the Western Australian Curriculum.

The school became an Independent Public School in 2012. This is the third Business Plan with each three year period building on the successes of previous years.
